Cleaning technology
Clean circuit boards and ribbons before forming
Particles, dust, and other contaminants on circuit board surfaces and strip material can impair the forming process and the quality of the finished components. Especially in the case of surface-sensitive formed parts, even small particles can cause marks or surface defects. The consequences range from additional rework and scrap to particle-induced stress on the tooling and the process.
Targeted brush cleaning prior to the forming process enables the following:
- Removing particles from the surface of the material
- To reduce surface defects and damage caused by particles
- To increase tool life and process stability
- Minimize rework and scrap
Brush cleaning systems enable continuous, double-sided cleaning of circuit boards as they pass through the system. The cleaning process can be integrated into existing manufacturing processes and combined with subsequent oiling processes.
Efficient double-sided circuit board cleaning
Raziol Brush Cleaning System
Raziol brush cleaning systems (models BA-PB P and LB-T) enable the cleaning of both sides of particle-sensitive blanks prior to the oiling or forming process. Using linear twin-brush technology, unwanted particles are reliably removed from the material surface, thereby creating the conditions necessary for stable forming processes and high component quality.
Areas of Application
- Cleaning of circuit boards prior to oiling and forming processes
- Removal of Particles and Dust from Material Surfaces
- Manufacturing of surface-sensitive components and body panels for the automotive industry
- Reduction of particle-related surface defects, rework, and scrap
- Protecting Tools from Particle-Induced Damage
Features
- Double-sided PCB cleaning with linear twin-brush technology
- Motor-driven upper and lower roller conveyors for safe PCB transport
- Sector-specific contact force of the upper roller conveyor for precise material flow
- Non-contact crash detection in the event of impermissible circuit board warping
- Continuous self-cleaning of the brushes to prevent particle carryover during the cleaning process
- Integrated extraction system for removing cleaned particles
- Central control of circuit board cleaning; can be optionally integrated into a downstream oiling system
- Modular system design with standardized components to minimize spare parts inventory
- Easy access to relevant system components for maintenance work
- Can be integrated into existing production and press lines
