Precise Lubrication for Reliable Forming Processes
In sheet metal forming, the lubricant must be available where it is needed for the respective forming process—in the correct amount and as consistently as possible. Applying too little lubricant can lead to friction, tool wear, and quality issues with the component. Conversely, applying too much lubricant or covering the entire surface unnecessarily increases consumption and can affect subsequent manufacturing steps as well as the cleaning process. At the same time, varying components, different material widths, and increasing demands on automated manufacturing processes place high demands on lubrication technology.
Spray lubrication systems enable contactless and precisely controlled application of forming lubricants to strip and sheet material. Depending on the system design, the material can be lubricated on one or both sides, as well as over the entire surface, in specific sectors, or in specific areas. With appropriate system configurations, different application rates can also be precisely specified across the material surface. This allows the oiling to be tailored to the actual lubricant requirements of the respective component and forming process.

Basic Line SKT-B Spray Chamber
The Basic Line SKT-B spray chamber enables single- or double-sided, full-surface, or sector-specific lubrication of strip material. Thanks to its compact design, it is particularly well-suited for applications where installation space is limited. The lubrication can be specifically tailored to the respective application and the required areas of the strip material. At the same time, the spray chamber is designed for integration into automated production lines and enables precise and reproducible lubricant application.

The SKT-N Line spray chamber enables single- or double-sided, full-surface, sector-specific, or partial oiling of strip or sheet material. Thanks to its flexible design and a wide range of available options, the system can be customized to meet various production requirements. Different application rates can be programmed both in the direction of travel and perpendicular to the direction of material travel. This makes the SKT-N Line particularly suitable for applications that require precise lubricant application tailored to the specific process.

SlimLine SKT-SL Spray Chamber
The SlimLine SKT-SL spray chamber is designed for applications involving short circuit boards or tape-and-reel material in confined installation spaces. Thanks to its minimal space requirements in the direction of travel, it can be integrated into production lines even where installation space is limited. A dedicated transport unit inside the spray chamber is not required: Material is transported through the spray chamber via the customer’s own transport systems. The SlimLine SKT-SL enables full-surface, sector-specific, or partial oiling, as well as oiling on one or both sides.
