Stable processes under high cutting loads
Cutting and punching processes place high demands on tools, materials, and lubricants. High surface pressures, difficult-to-machine materials, and increasing demands on surface quality and process reliability require reliable lubrication at the point of contact.
Cutting fluids help ensure stable machining, reduce friction and wear, and contribute to improving tool life and the quality of the finished components. Depending on the application and material, tailored lubricant solutions are available for various cutting, punching, and forming processes.
For demanding processes
Raziol Cutting Oils
Raziol cutting oils are based on specially refined mineral oils and high-performance additive combinations. Polar and chemically active additives are formulated to work together to provide excellent lubrication even during demanding cutting and forming processes.
Cutting oils help extend tool life, improve the surface finish of machined workpieces, and reduce material build-up on the tool, especially with soft materials that tend to stick or form scale (in the case of aluminum).
Application
- Cutting and Punching Processes in Metalworking
- Thread Forming in Non-Cutting Machining
- For high-stress production parts made of materials that are difficult to machine
- Machining of materials prone to weld buildup, e.g., stainless steel
- Machining of non-ferrous metals, e.g., with RAZIOL CLF 19 B and RAZIOL CLF 49 B (low tendency to cause discoloration)
To ensure a controlled application of lubricant, Raziol cutting oils can be applied (depending on the specific process requirements) using suitable roller-chain lubricators or spray systems.
Features
- High lubrication performance for demanding cutting, punching, and forming processes
- High pressure resistance due to specially formulated, performance-enhancing additives (EP effect)
- Wear-protective additives to reduce material buildup and built-up edges
- Supporting long tool life through consistent lubrication
- Good wetting and adhesion to workpiece and tool surfaces
- Made from specially refined mineral oils
- Low-aromatic formulation
- The additives used do not contain any silicone- or chlorine-based ingredients in their formulations
